Some questions answered

How do I pay for the currency?

By TT (telegraphic transfer), CHAPS or BACS. Under no circumstances do we accept cash or cheques.  If you are buying a Forward Exchange Contract we will require 10% of the deal amount at the time of booking and the remainder on the value date.

How does Crossbar-fx pay your beneficiary?

When your funds have cleared we pay them by TT on the value date.   

When does my beneficiary receive the funds?

Either on the value date or the next working day depending on the time difference in the destination country.

Can you receive foreign currency on my behalf?  

Yes, and we inform you of its arrival.

What is Crossbar-fx’s fee?

For regular deal sizes less than £1,500 or equivalent we only charge £2.50, otherwise it is £12.50 per deal.

Bank charges?

Crossbar-fx recovers all it’s bank transmission charges at cost, which are currently £10 per TT, irespective of size or currency.  GBP can be sent by BACS to other UK based GBP accounts for free.
